Mike Ross, PE, LEED AP

Within GCW, Mike’s responsibilities include the broad-scope principal-level supervision of the firm’s water, wastewater, electrical engineering, alternative energy utility coordination, and the Summerlin land development divisions. In this capacity, he provides assistance in the management, operational, and fiscal activities of major departments that are responsible for both public and private clients. He analyzes and recommends the development of systems and procedures to improve operating quality and efficiency. Since joining GCW in 1982, Mike has supervised engineering services for a number of commercial and residential developments throughout Southern Nevada. His career spans more than 30 years in the management, administration, and engineering design of projects associated with master planned communities, land development, water distribution and storage, and wastewater collection and treatment facilities in both the public and private sector. Mike also plays a key role in providing career development advice, implementing information programs and forums for EITs, and recruiting new talent to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
